Case Study 1: Brighton Recreational Centre – Gymnastics Relaunch

Reintroducing a much-loved community program after four years — rebuilding awareness, enrolments and connection through a simple, emotionally resonant campaign.

• Enrolments exceeded launch targets
• Gymnastics re-established as the Centre’s flagship program
• Rapid expansion into additional gymnastics offerings

The context
After a devastating fire closed Brighton Recreational Centre’s gymnastics facility for four years, the community was left without one of its most important programs. Although the Centre had reopened, awareness that gymnastics was back remained low.

Approach
DiNAMIC Communications (Fi and Di) worked in partnership with the BRC team to develop and deliver a relaunch campaign anchored in a simple, emotionally resonant message: Gymnastics is Back in Brighton. The campaign prioritised community connection, clarity and resilience, supported by staged communications and a physical launch event.

The impact
The campaign exceeded enrolment targets, supported rapid program expansion and, most importantly, restored community confidence and connection.

Working with DiNAMIC COMMUNICATIONS on the ‘Gymnastics is Back in Brighton’ campaign was an absolute pleasure. Their creativity and enthusiasm brought the project to life, making the relaunch exciting and engaging for our community. They were professional, fun to collaborate with, and invested significant time in thorough research to ensure every detail was perfect. We couldn’t be happier with the results.
